Neace gave up two hits and two runs over seven innings while walking four. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen opened the scoring in the first after Alex Demaegd singled, scoring one run. Prairie Heights Junior Varsity Panthers scored on a passed ball, which helped Prairie Heights Junior Varsity Panthers tie the game at one in the top of the second. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen took the lead in the bottom of the second. Liam Hacker doubled, scoring one run, to give Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen the edge, 2-1. Traydon Penrod singled to center field, which helped Prairie Heights Junior Varsity Panthers tie the game at two in the top of the third. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Andrew Toney grounded out, scoring one run, to give Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen the upper hand, 3-2. Easton Coney took the loss for Prairie Heights Junior Varsity Panthers. The hurler went six innings, surrendering five runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out seven and walking four. Demaegd led Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen with two hits in three at bats. Hacker, Toney, Gaeton Groninger, and Demaegd each drove in one run for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. Groninger stole two bases. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen stole six bases in the game. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen turned one double play in the game.
