Demaegd Leads Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen Past NorthWood Junior Varsity Panthers Baseball

By GameChanger Media Alex Demaegd collected three hits in five at bats, as Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen defeated NorthWood Junior Varsity Panthers Baseball 11-5 on Wednesday at NorthWood High School. Alex Demaegd tripled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen won thanks in part to six runs in the first inning. Alex Demaegd tripled, scoring one run, Kole Neace singled, scoring one run, Chase Semak tripled, scoring three runs, and one run scored on a balk. Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen added one run in the second. Jack Taylor grounded out, making the score 7-3. Gavin Franks pitched five innings in relief for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen. The reliever gave up five hits and zero runs while, striking out five and walking none. Kole Neace stepped on the hill first for Mishawaka Junior Varsity Cavemen.
